Northgate Industrial Building Sold for $1,775,000

A freestanding warehouse/office complex at Northgate on Brisbane’s northside has been sold by Ray White Commercial (Qld) for $1,775,000.

The approximately 1,142 sqm vacant building at 109 Crockford Street, Northgate was sold prior to auction to a private owner-occupier by Ray White Commercial Qld’s Paul Anderson and Aaron Aleckson on behalf of Multi-Facets Australia Pty Ltd.

Paul Anderson said the property on a site of approximately 2,223 sqm was sold during the first week of the marketing campaign.

“We recommended an auction to the vendors to take advantage of current market conditions, as there is very limited stock for buyers to choose from,” he said.

“This particular purchaser had simply missed several other properties.  When this site came up, they made a strong play on an all cash/ unconditional basis.”

The modern office and column free warehouse facility was built by the firm Clearspan approximately 10 year ago. Construction is of steel frame with concrete walls to three sides and a combination tilt panel and metal clad wall to the front elevation.

The site is secured by a black powder coast fence with 2 x large sliding gates. Additionally, the site has been professionally landscaped providing a high level of street appeal.

“It’s difficult to get quality stock on the market and there is serious pent up demand for this type of asset,” Mr Aleckson said.
