Ray White Commercial QLD appoints Head of Asset Management

With the ambition to create a full service for its clients, Ray White Commercial QLD has launched its new asset management business.

With more than 13 years experience in the industry, kicking off his property management career at the iconic Brisbane Markets, David Peterson will be leading the Ray White Commercial QLD asset management business as Head of Asset Management.

“I wanted to further grow in my career and refine my specialty, build on my professional relationships, and create a business,” Mr Peterson said.

“It’s a unique opportunity with a blank canvas where I can implement an innovative approach to the day to day management of assets to improve service delivery.”

“The scale of the business and the resources Ray White provides also creates a huge amount of opportunity.”

“There’s a lot of untapped potential to be able to provide an exceptional service to our clients with a great reach which is a massive bonus and unique in the market.”

Mr Peterson said he hoped to grow the biggest asset management portfolio in the Ray White Commercial group, as well as build a passionate and hard working team.

“I want to understand what our clients’ strategy is and provide them with the advice and service to get them the best results,” he said.

“I plan to create an environment for a team who can come to work and love what they do while being supported with systems and processes for them to be the best they can be.

“An environment with happy and engaged employees will lead to happy engaged clients.”

Ray White Commercial QLD Managing Director and Partner Michael McCullagh said he was excited to be launching the asset management business.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with David, someone with his experience and reputation with his clients was the perfect fit for our business,” Mr McCullagh said.

“We’ve been looking for the right opportunity for a number of years and I feel confident in broadening and deepening our service to our existing clients as well as new ones.”

Ray White Commercial QLD Partner and Head of Sales Tom Barr said he was excited to welcome Mr Peterson to the business.

“We want to provide a broader level of service for our clients through the full asset lifecycle,” he said.

“Following the acquisition stage we can provide clients with an asset management service to improve the performance of their asset, and then eventually assist clients in divesting their asset when the time is right to capitalise on their investment.”

Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said: “David’s knowledge and experience will be an invaluable asset to the Ray White Commercial QLD team as they take this exciting new step.”
